Off the subject but I read that they are going to make a sequel to blade runner..... Finally!....
Unfortunately it will be about Oscar Pistorious's life.:(

Yeah, One in Florida for sale.

Has the big automation cell as well and a decent price.

Been looking at it for a couple months.

Kinda a hassle to get parts from Germany I would imagine.

I get HAAS parts very fast. I have only needed One belt so far.

I like the fact that they are open until 8:00 my time. (HQ in California)

So, I think I probably will keep buying HAAS to have identical machines.

No complaints so far with the HAAS. I'll buy another when the time is right.

Scott/***/Lord Vader,
Please tell me you are not keeping all the specs and procedure logged in your human CPU (brain)?
Hate to have something clog your arteries in your brain and we lose all that 'knowledge base'
from a silly thing like a stroke.
Do keep it in the cloud so that some foreign agent can hack into and start to attack American
competiitiveness. . . . ;)
Just kidding, but in all seriousness, such trade secrets tend to get lost over time, but
you should have it backed up or handed to your off springs by tattooing on their back or something . . .
Appreciate that drive for excellence and precision, am sure other industries have done this in the past,
but customizing it for the dental field takes a lot more forethought and applaud you for that.
Cheers
LCM

Oh yeah.....you with Felix and Ducky Lee in Northern VA?

I can find one with the BIG automation cell for $130k or less.

You can beat that price? It is in Florida and I have been talking with guy for months about it.

Came from idiots that went bankrupt. Bank turned over the machine to company to sell for whatever they can get.

You are talking to someone who is very good at finding used equipment.
I do not pay alot. I am a cheap ass. LOL

Scott I have to admit that your knowledge in machine is good, I never doubted about that in fact.
If i could make a comparison you look like a guy that took a used old BMW and modded it until it could compete with the Ferrari and Lambos of the world with amazing success. But still getting in the F1 race that required more stuff than that...well without a doubt I am sure you know what is needed....but as long as you will stay as you said "cheap ass" you will not be able to get in. (not talking about machine only I am talking about the whole solution here cause HAAS machine are good machine, far to be our favorite here but still)

But for today I will applaud your progress and wish you better. As I said, I am still waiting to meet you once in real life!

LCM : It is great what you said to Scott, but just for your info, he is not the first one to do that. Been a long time since some company have build specific industrial machine just for dental field. Even if they are not the best in that, even Nobel was among the first to have a specific dental machine done for them a long time ago. Today there is plenty of industrial machine developed for the dental market only from small table top to high end millions dollar machines.

What make Scott nice is that he is one of the rare to share parts of his project and I know he always ask me to do so. But that a business choice to share or not our secrets, both way are good and wrong but that not the topic here ;)
