Hi Everyone,

I was hoping some people could recommend some hands-on anterior courses that they found valuable. I have 2 experienced ceramists and I was looking to increase their knowledge/skills.
LVI has no courses booked in for the time being

Thanks,
Sean

So, LVI is not putting on courses at this time, or just not good times for you?

If you never make a decision then your possibilities are endless.

I haven't seen him, but I've heard good things about Brad Jones...

I've been to LVI extensively, and Brad Jones recently. Liked Jurgen Seger & Brad Jones. Felt Brad Jones had some fresh stuff to present for immediate application when I returned to the lab.

Maybe check with Ivo on their course listings as well as Vita.

At the risk of appearing silly, the "Du Jour" photo threads on this site have a lot of food for thought.

Oliver Brix is by far the best I've learned from for esthetics, plus you can follow up with his book after you've taken the course ( Fascinating Ceramics is the title ). You'll get real-world info, he explains his techniques very well, the techniques are relevant for both production and high-end esthetics, and he has a great understanding of proper tooth form and function. Not much pie-in-the-sky stuff from him, you'll apply what you've learned the following Monday.

Fundamentals of Esthetics is his first book and just as useful.
