Sorry, I just don't gauge my employees that way, and I don't mean to be a d1ck either.
We do not have similar business Jeff. Not at all. I work for ZERO Dentists.
None of our cases are normal. Other labs design the easy stuff. Not us.
We do not have Thirty Full-contour to design in a row. That is not how my business works.
We do things that you and most other labs cannot do. We sell CAM and CAD and are always training someone, and/or answering tech questions to people all around the world. We develop stuff. How can you measure that?
Impossible to start looking at life by the minute when you have very challenging cases or questions/problems to resolve.
How long does it take your employees to design a bar with Locators and communicate to customer the design parameters? What about Full Ti abutments mixed with other crap?
We work as a team to do most all cases. Nobody here can do it all themselves.
I can tell you that I make more than 95%+ of the Dentist I have ever met. That is all I care about! LOL
A good boss should be able to tell what an employee is worth and what he/she does each day without counting.
