Question: How safe is this procedure? All cosmetic dentists tout it, but is it safe? Thank you
Answer: Bonding is safe, but it does involve the removal of some tooth structure. This is considered a conservative amount of tooth structure which is certainly less than a crown, but more than doing nothing. There are no materials in dentistry as good as natural tooth structure.
