Here's my attempt at a one-step zebra stripe (Tiger Stripe?)
Here is the (as Labdude would say) "shooting" the acrylic. One-step zebra stripe Sorry for the out side link, the pics were too big for this forum. Plus I decieded to add pics of me finishing the appliance. I need to to a better job keeping my acrylic walls cleaner the design would have come out better. ![]() This is what I call one step, because you don't have to go back into the pressure pot. Happy designing! Cade |

Nice work Cade. Nice set of instuctional pics as well!
Shoot acrylic...yeah I say that. Lay up acrylic...I say that to. Salt and pepper...once in a while. I was thinking of doing a more detailed set of pics of acrylic work also. Seems to be a bigger desire for seeing more of the process than I realized. I just was visited by Ron and Rachel from Medford Oregon. Enjoyable visit. They liked seeing the hands on work, visual is the best says Rachel. They are "rs promotions" here on DLN. So... I guess more detailed pics like these you did, Cade, are in order as time allows. Mike. |

I like your "shoot" acrylic and "Lay Up" better than "salt and pepper" ( too long) and what I say: "Pour acrylic" I dont know where I picked this one up must have been at lab school in the denture class. I never have liked it and it was hard to explain to my wife or any one else what stage I was on. Its going to be "Lay up" or "Shoot" from now on...its the coolest.
I pull so much info from other peoples pictures, I think the more the better. We are going to have a pretty awesome instruction manuel on this forum after awhile! I'm in the process of taking pics for the Twin Blks im making, but my camera battery died. ![]() Did rs promotions swing by your lab? I hope they didnt get in the way of your production! I know how you are. ![]() |

Nice step by step instructions. We are newbies so we are soaking up all we can.
Thanks Cade Our visit to Labdude was prearranged and Mike was very helpful in showing us tips and tricks. Yes we did put him behind schedule but really appreciate his knowledge and time. Thanks Mike |
