While waiting for Reamaloy Crozat wire shipment I played around with some regular wire to make this... an appliance for aligning (protruding) first incisors.
This is my first try in constructing crozat-type appliance. Labial bow is made from thermoforming sheet and clear acrylic to make it as discreet as possible. @Don : Sorry for displaying this kind of lingual component, it was stronger than me I wanted to name it Crozman but I am saving that name for Crozats modified wit IPCs ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Mike:
I am in South Florida on the East Coast. My city got slammed by Hurricane Wilma about six weeks after Hurricane Katrina hit us with a glancing blow before reorganizing in the Gulf Of Mexico. We got no media attention as Katrina was so devastating and we all understood. We were without electrical power for two weeks and my business struggled to survive. I tell you this because of the floods and so many untold stories, we never know when we will all will need help! To pinpoint my location better we are in between Boca Raton and West of Ft. Lauderdale. We sit on the edge of the Everglades with the Atlantic Ocean 20 minutes to our East. Great Schools, great places to eat! Westinghouse developed this city and it is a great place to raise two boys. With that said I can say I envy where you live and someday hope to be your neighbor or live somewhere like where you call home! regards, Don |

Sorry we have got of subject again.. Mike: Google Earth is very cool...... Go to this address 3953 W. 126th Ave Coral Springs FL 33065 This is where my new lab is, the building is built and we are two weeks away from moving but Google Earth only shows the lot. I will also PM you my home address, it shows our area after the hurricane. If you look you will see my and and all our neighbors pools, these pools all had screen enclosures before the hurricane and they all do again now..it is like looking back in time. The NADL has an emergency fund to help labs survive disasters, they sent me a check after hurricane Wilma...it helped. I need to make a correction: My lab was without electricity for 5 working days, not two weeks but most our local accounts were without power for at least two weeks. Water was also a big problem as you had to boil water to use it, it made things very difficult for dental offices. Business Interruption Insurance was a joke but I made sure all my employee's did not miss a single day of pay. We used every dime we had of savings but it all worked out and we survived. I hope any labs effected by the floods are so lucky, I feel for them and all the small business owners as well as all the people who lost their homes. I will for sure send the NADL a few dollars for their fund. Have a great Sunday. Regards, Don |
