Not provoking further discussion, just proving my point about any ones ability to protect this kind of design

They even pasted this
Quote:
Inman aligner uses NiTi coil springs to apply steady, gentle forces to teeth without the need for costly multiple appliances to complete correction. Both lingual and labial components work together as opposing piston like forces to move teeth. This appliance is ideal for the correction of anterior rotations, crowding and adult relapse.
This is in Turkey

I know this lab and the Orthodontist who owns it, long story that I will not go into here.
I had dinner with my attorney and a business consultant last night are we went aver many issues such as this one.

Please don't ask to to respond to posts on this topic anymore, as I have said before nothing I say here will help my position.

I do however understand and respect your opinion on all this.
Regards,
Don

Hi Don,
Teofil clearly stated he didn't want to provoke further discussion. He didn't ask for a response. Clearly, people will respond, and discuss.
With that however, the way this site works is to have open discussion on any appliance anyone would like to talk about.
Intentions for discussion, and the desire to discuss something will not be suppresed by anyone. Provided that discussion stays "clean" and not a "mud slinging" type of discussion.
Suppression of open discussion will not be allowed.
If an individual doesn't wish to participate, easy, don't participate.
Trying to intimidate people into not talking, sharing, or discussing, will not be tolerated.
Mike.

edit:Yeah right, like I could do anything about some guy trying to protect his tm butt. Apparently he doesn't want to play in this fashion, he has gone home or something. Everybody else must be busy, are you guys just a bunch of light weights or what???
Some things don't seem to be pc, sooooo... I just won't respond to this twit, or, I don't like the way he talks, he is just uncooth(sp), what is a cooth anyway.
Party on.

Can you believe that previous post??
Seems maybe labdude is a little over protective???
Response from anyone is indicated.

I am not trying to suppress Don and his comments. My thoughts, (what???nobody read my mind out there??) there is "mention" of lawyers in 2 posts in this thread.
Don is required by his contracts to respond to anything he finds reguarding the appliance he has a contract, tm, etc. for. The ones holding the contract can come after him if he doesn't. The one with the most money would win.
So...he must protect things by responding when there is a new post reguarding the appliance.
I am not mentioning the appliance by name, or posting pictures of it etc.
Therefore, hopefully, Don doesn't have to reply to a thread that is a sort of "catch 22" for him. It's not really a catch 22, he's doing his job, and better spoken than I could do.

It would be nice if we could be quiet about this particular appliance, no more posts or pictures of it or "like" appliances.
Then Don doesn't have to respond to something, and I don't feel the need to take up the other side.

Travis would like the site to be a place where anyone can come and say most anything they feel, including some "yelling" at each other without suppression. This is unlike other sites that will delete posts for seemingly being rude or not pc or that makes someone uncomfortable. Allowing this type of open discussion makes this site unique.
May this thread serve 2 purposes, as it seems to.
1. Open conversation, that has a point.
2. Protection of those who have a tm, contract, copyright etc. of any given appliance or item or component.
Please read this carefully, and lets have some fun, and heated conversation if need be.
Rob and Brian8 are good examples, they give me crap now and again. Not to mention Trisha and Cade.
It will make for a stimulating site if we have a lot of open conversation.
I hope this is as clear as mud.
Mike.
