hey guys, greets from australia. new on this site. thinking about moving to the states. figure that i might need a job for starter. is it ezy to get a job there? i mean i can only do ortho~.

no not really, 7 years since i got into ortho, not long but do all sort of stuffs. bionator & twin blocks wut i do most at the moment. saw the other thread about bionators from labdude. extremly similar to how we do in AUS, except the hot glue shot gun thing is a bit too fancy for us i guess, lol. i just use yellow sticky wax. pain to get off but does the work. great thread about the making of bionator from labdude though. great forum.

'Registration' we don't need no stinkin' registration. Most states don't require anything, not even high school education. Registration? That's, sadly, funny!

You might have some trouble staying here legally...not that living here illegally is that hard.

Really? I thought we allies at some stage lol. Good to hear dat man. Long since I did any tests. But honestly. It's stupid. Those plates we make are going into patients mouth. You gota have to be responsible for these peoples oral health. Not everyones kno enough to do so though. Just saying.

if you move to Texas you will have to register your lab with the state. And to do that you will have to have a CDT on staff for a minimum of 30 hours a week. But that is jus if you want to open a lab. YOu can go to work (in-hose) for an orthodontist (or already registered lab) without registering or needing a CDT.
If you come to the Dallas area, look us up we are always looking for wire benders!
