Has anyone tried Duceram Kiss porcelain? I was given a kit on loan and heard very good things about this ceramic. It handles excellent even with water. Lots of modifiers etc and several very detailed shade guides of the actual porcelain. I can not for the life of me get good color with this ceramic. I use several ceramics with total success and I even use the Cercon Ceram Kiss for zirconia, which is beautiful. Lowered insertion temp to extend time under vaccum, increased hold time, raised final temp and everything else I could think of. I am getting all the visuals of underfired ceramic except for surface texture which is slick. High value and slight lack of color. I would appreciate any advice. This ceramic has had me scratching my head lately.
Thanks, Jason |

Thelabguy it is great to see your patriotism. I made a choice myself to not only leave a company supporting a communist economy and putting our jobs in jeapardy, but find a porcelain made here in the USA. I recently found this with Avante porcelain by Jeneric Pentron. I feel really good about this decision especially since their products are not in use in Chinese labs- unlike Dentsply, Degussa and others. I really enjoy this forum and the information I get from you guys.
Thanks again, Jason |

Thanks Jason, I've done the same with our porcelain systems.....I've tried almost every porcelain system out there in the last 6 months. I really liked avante's color but kept getting gas bubbles, I really think the porcelain wasn't compatible with the metal. I currently use D.Sign but will most likely go to Noritake. D.Sign is very nice, but at 60 dollars/20g it adds up fast. Noritake is only 22 dollars/20g. The Noritake color isn't as nice as D.sign unless i add some modifiers but with the modifiers it comes out just like d.sign and hell of a lot cheaper price. Oh yeah, welcome to the forums, glad to see their are other patriots amongst the living.
