Years ago, I took a 3 or 4 day course with these people. They provided a coping, I believe it was called that. We added porcelain. They taught build up techniques and firing methods. It was an interesting course and enjoyable.
Today, is porcelain built up in the same way?? Using brushes and such?? Some folks were real picky about type of brush and the liquid that was used to wet the porcelain. I'm afraid my use of porcelain stopped after the class and my abilities and knowledge in the area as well. My focus went orthodontic totally. It seems that a true focus on what you want to do is a major way to achieve success. Like myself, focused on ortho, Rob is focused on restorative lab work. Seems to be mostly crown and bridge for you Rob. Therein lies an answer to success, and a direction for investing your time in learning and your cash in purchasing items for your labs success. FOCUS.
