Question BL3 BL4 - Pink Ingots

Ivoclar BL3-BL4 shade guide tabs are nice to work with, but the ingots have a pink hue....any one else notice this and have a solution?

What type of ingots are you using the MO, LT, or Zirpress?

I'm doing some BL-3 tomorrow, I'll let you know If I notice anything, done some in the past but didn't notice anything, do you notice it on the cutback?

And, when is the last time you've purged your pressing oven?
That goes for everyone else out there as well.....

I have had this issue as well. The ingots purposely have that pink hue. The newly formulated bleach ingots (I was told) resemble naturally bleached teeth, not just "chicklet" bleachy, high value white. The ingot certainly looks more pink because it is a full, thick, solid ingot. The pink hue will be amplified. As pressed, I have found they look good and match the shade guide with a cutback incisally (with the incisal bleach enamel!). I have also pressed the BL1 ingot (which is more WHITE, high value) less pink, and then shaded it down some. So, your all fine, there is no contamination in your ovens. I also played around with some internal and external staining with the Essence White powder.
