Hello to everyone, I am a Denturist, any other Denturists here?
I'm licensed in Oregon and Washington, My office is in Oregon.
I've been practicing about 7 years and I swear one of these days I'll get it right......

All kidding aside I think this is going to be a great forum, I just learned of it today while at Dental Town and plan on checking in often.

I beleive you would be the first Denturists. So you work directly with the patient? Do you have any outside accounts (dentists)? Thanks for joining us and I hope you find some value in the site.

Hi Travis,
Yes that is correct, I work directly with the patient, I also do my own lab work. as to outside accounts, I don't do any lab work, I have my hands full with my own patients.
I do however work closely with several Dr's in the area, if I have a patient that needs a new PD I have them see a Dr first for a comprehensive OE and X-rays, also any restorative work or preps that may be necessary.
Also any abnormalities or pathologies I may see are referred to a Dr. for further examination and tests if needed.
also the Dr's I do work with just refer all there removable patients to me, it all works out well for the patient.

Currently I'm in Milton-Freewater, it is in eastern oregon about 25 miles north of Pendleton, I have the practice up for sale and when that happens I ill return to Florence and open a very small office there, where I only want to see a couple patients a week. Getting tired of seeing 8 - 12 people a day, time to start slowing down and go fishing..

I've been through your area quite a bit especialy on my way to the hot springs, couger res.

That is interesting! We just looked at a horse on-line for sale in your area. We thought it was a little far to go to just look at a horse. Who knows, maybe nothing comes of the closer horses and we might go there to see.
I hope to slow down in 10 years and just work local. We moved up from L.A. in 1992 and haven't been back there since. Living up here is like one big vacation.

I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like to live in LA.
I have lived most of my life here in Oregon also lived in Alaska for quite a few years.
