well i just finished a 2 year DLT program, i've been in the dental field for about 12 years as an RDA. i also just started my own little ortho lab just doing the basics as of right now.

There is a quite a bit of info here concerning ortho. Your behind the "orange curtain" I see.
I moved away from L.A. in 1992 and haven't been back. Your in an excellent place to start a lab. Large base of drs. to choose from. If you haven't been to a PCSO, try one out. It is the #1 best way to aquire new busniess if you need more. They have 1 day meetings in L.A. where you can exhibit. Search the forums for PSCO info, or google it.

Travis put up those silly games here, major distraction for some. I see your Alien Invasion Champ. Big deal. Rob has a few champ titles himself, I don't get it.
Anyway, search the forums for ortho info or call if you feel like it 888-996-0522. Or just ask what ever you want here, we will all help out.
Me, I'm pushy and don't think anyone works up to their true potential. Especially Cade (retainer designer, he calls himself). But, that's just me.
Your in a fast moving place, and can do really well if you choose.

I have an ortho lab that I have been running single handedly (by choice) for 8 years now. I really enjoy what I do and the freedom and versatility it provides. It is a nice living that I would be unable to match if working for an employer.Please feel free to pick my brain if there is any question that you might have about ortho stuff, I would be glad to chat with you. I am by no means an expert, that would be Labdude ( he is a wealth of info and very happy to share with others), but I do have a few years under my belt.
Have you started up your lab yet? Or are you out knocking on doors for business??

wow, thanks for the warm welcome this is a great site, looks very helpful. i did start my lab, i have 3 accounts and is keeping me busy i think imight need to hire someone soon.
