Thanks Rob...... I use a 9wt Scott fly rod and manual Ross reel for these guys. It will take about 20 minutes to bring to the boat. Great fighters !!

LOL Rob..... It's all catch & release for me. The Muskegon River is a great adventure and natural resourse. We have had a January thaw this week and the steelhead became very active. Check out this one from Monday...I, unfortunatly, was hard at work on a FMR. Bummer !!!!

You got a rough life their Russ........that steely is huge, you'd feed half of Grand Rapids with that catch.......lol Okay, maybe not that huge but that's a beauty for sure, great job.
