Hi Doug,
I am glad your here. I know next to nothing about dentures. My main focus is ortho appliances. I generally make trouble here.
Did you pay the thousand dollar join up fee like I did??
Lots of info to be had here.
Mike.

Let me guess...... Affordable dentures?

You need to get a little more schooling and go for your Denturist license.. of course you would have to leave Texas,
currently there are 6 states denturity is legal in, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Main.

I deliver late at night. When I stop in for gas, this one station has some attraction for folks that need dentures. Late at night, they ask "What ya doin??". I tell them, then they wnat to know if I can make them a denture, how much is a denture, can you fix my denture, and on and on....
They look at me like they don't understand (and they don't) why I make mouth stuff, but won't help them out.
I tell them to look up denturists, they don't . They need teeth removed, I suggest going to the local clinics, they have no money for a dentist they say. This is true.
I put out there for them that if they take on another part time job for a month or 2, only a month or 2, then they can quit that job and get their denture.
They look at me like I'm speaking another language all of a sudden.
There are a lot of folks out there that seem to believe there is someone or someplace where they can get taken care of for free, or 10 bucks maybe.
Now the elections are happening, and you here a lot of how the government can help people out. Mostly the bottom line is, take from the people that work, and give it to those that don't want to work, or do just a little extra to help themselves out.

You know, you put up a bird feeder outside, you get a few birds. Pretty soon you get so many birds you can't keep enough food in the feeder.
Maybe we need to take down some of the "feeders" out there, people would have to actually do something for themselves.
How's that for slightly on topic, to completely off topic?
End of rant.
Mike.
