Mike, i'm a free-thinker in a supposedly free-nation. Obama/Osama or whatever you want to call him is a socialist/marxist, Hitlary is a fascist, McCain is a liberal who will have the U.S. part of Mexico praying to the Global Warming fanatics before his term ends. As for Ron Paul, Ron Paul irks me about his stance on the infiltration of Islamic Terrorism (Isolationist), however he is right on the mark when it comes to this nations economical viability. As for Bob Barr, he ticked me off when he called our troops "occupiers" of Iraq, but he's a huge supporter of the FairTax, and that right their will have a greater effect on this nation than anything that this world has ever seen before. Then again, I'm a dumb Jarhead, so take what I write with what you want, but as for Bob Barr being an independent, I believe he's going to be running under the Liberatarian ticket.

I'm right beside you Rob. Plenty of weird things going on out there. Doesn't it seem that as we get older, we think like older people did when we were kids??? You know....world is going to hell in a hand basket.
Mike.

Angry Off Topic~Slightly

The US is in quite a quandry since we apparently didn't learn from our mistakes in 1974 with the oil embargo and our dependency on other nation to satiate our addiction to oil we did apparently nothing to help ourselves out of this one time symbiotic relationship into what is now a parasitic relationship. Why Why have we done nothing to help our selves????????? There was numerous options for us to choose from to get out of this dilemma and 34 years to do it.
I fear the life we have been accustom to in the US of A is at a turning point in history and I hope I am soooooo wrong.

Thanks for letting me vent!

Agree totally with you Trisha, thanks for the kind words and you're correct Mike, but you take the "old fart" title.....lol Trisha however, you couldn't have nailed it more. Back in 1986 the U.S. could refine 9 billion gallons of gas a day, now fast forward to 2008, we can only refine 5 billion gallons of gas......wtf Well since we haven't built a new refinery since the 70's what do you expect. All the liberal diaper wearing bed wetting tree huggers have had their way for way to long. Time for some Nuclear energy, build the damn refineries already, and hey, how about we stop being Saudi's pimp and start drilling in Anwar where the largest amount of oil in Alaska still remains to be tapped because the porcupine reindeer might not be able to fornicate without some oil pipes running by through their bedroom.....give me a break and tell those ragheads what they can do with their oil........put it right where their Allah split them.

Even the Co-Founder of Green Peace has done a 180 and realizes the need for nuclear. Look at France they produce 90% of their own energy.
