Need EVERYONES Help......

I think this web site can greatly benefit from small user reviews on equipment and materials. We all know how many products are out there. How many of these companies want use to switch and how do we make a good decision when its time?

Well here I go......I had been disappointed with the die stone my wife and I were using so I called a few companies to have them send me some samples. When I get the samples all together I'd like to run a few cases through the paces.

Here is where you all come in. I'm new to this review thing. Although I have another hobby that reviews can get quite extensive, this will be different. When reviewing a die stone, what kinds of things are you interested in? What concerns you the most? Pouring, trimming, abrasion resistance?.....Obviously I will include manufactures specs on all the stones, but I want to go further than that. I want to create a review that we all can benefit from.

In the ortho lab, WE DON'T CARE!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Well, anything but maybe concrete. The need for a strong white as possible stone for making study modes has been the most concern for me in the past.
I am of no use in this case, just playing.

Make sure you include fujirock. The thing I am interested in is ditching, this I think is were alot of die stones fail.

While I'm at it I think I'll do a review on the Ethos!!!! Now I just need a sponsor!!!!

But seriously...I guess.

I have these molds, they consist of a prepped 1st. molar, with complete second molar and bicuspid. They are made of Polyvinylsiloxane (sp?), green color. I made these guys for Direct Crown people. They needed to have me make display models for their direct Crown acrylic temps.
These molds are in good shape. I poured them with a blue stone for the displays. Direct Crown used them at meetings to display their crown shells.
Anyhow, they are just layoing around now.
All but a couple consist of 5 individual 3 tooth models(middle one is a prep.)

These molds would be good if someone would want to pour various stones for comparison, as they don't wear out. These models could also be used to train or practice a wax up of a crown etc.
