Default Front crown smells and it`s turning gray

Question: I have a crown that was put in about 6 or 7 months ago and i notice a bad odor coming from the area when i floss or when i rub my finger on the gumline. Also in the last 3 months or so the crown has started turning gray. Should there be an odor coming from the crown? Do crowns turn gray after that s . . .
Answer: If the gums are healthy and the area is kept clean with daily flossing, there should be no odor. The area should be evaluated clinically and radiographically to make sure that the crown fits properly. It is not unusual for dentists to do the crown again at no fee if there is a problem with the crown . . .
